Six companies have been selected as 2016 IP Star Companies: KORYO CABLE, a manufacturer of insulated wires and communication cables; Jeonghwa Industries, a specialized muffler manufacturer; Living Care, a producer of thermoelectric materials and modules; Hucos, a maker of office furniture and educational equipment; Lubecam Korea, a producer of industrial and automotive lubricants; and Bowon Dental, a manufacturer of dental equipment.
The Daegu Intellectual Property Center of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce announced on the 22nd that this year's IP Star Companies were finalized by first screening 9 companies from 24 applicants with outstanding technology through document review and on-site inspection, followed by the 'IP Star Company Selection Committee,' which made the final selection of 6 companies.
