On the 18th, Daegu's Seo-gu District signed a 'Public-Private Job Creation Business Agreement (MOU)' with representatives from 10 outstanding local institutions and companies in attendance. The agreement was established to encourage private sector interest in local job creation and to revitalize the regional economy through sustainable employment, overcoming unemployment, and expanding hiring opportunities.
The following 10 organizations participated in the agreement: Daegu Medical Center, Daegu-Gyeongbuk Design Center, Hanshin Convalescent Hospital, Daegu Yonsei Convalescent Hospital, E-Mart Traders Bisan Branch, Homeplus Naedang Branch, Korea Fire Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Daehan Textile Co., Ltd., KORYO CABLE Co., Ltd., and Cheonwoo Textile Co., Ltd.
Going forward, these organizations plan to collaborate with Seo-gu District Office on: △ mutual sharing of job opening and job seeking information, △ active hiring of Seo-gu residents when recruiting staff, △ mutual cooperation and network building for job creation, △ promotion of recruitment for participating companies, and △ administrative support for participating companies.
