The number of companies certified under Daegu's '100 Billion Club' has exceeded 100 for the first time. According to the Daegu Chamber of Commerce (DCCI) on November 26, nine additional Daegu-based companies achieved annual revenues of ₩100 billion or more based on last year's figures, bringing the total number of certified members to 106.
The Daegu 100 Billion Club is a certification program operated by the DCCI since 2019, recognizing companies that achieve annual revenues of ₩100 billion or more based on the previous year's sales. Subsidiaries and companies that temporarily relocated their headquarters to Daegu are excluded.
On November 26, the DCCI held the '2025 Daegu 100 Billion Club Luncheon' at Hotel Suseong in Daegu, presenting certification trophies to companies that newly surpassed ₩100 billion in revenue last year. The newly certified companies are: KORYO CABLE, Dongwoo CM, Mirae Advanced Materials, Baeksan E&C, Sangil General Management, S-Tech, Woosung Powertech, Juwon Holdings, and Hanchangsilup. Notable additions include a semiconductor equipment manufacturer (S-Tech) and a secondary battery company (Mirae Advanced Materials), reflecting the ongoing expansion of these industries.
The luncheon brought together business leaders from companies that achieved over ₩100 billion in revenue last year, celebrating their achievements while exploring ways to sustain regional economic growth and expand inter-company cooperation. DCCI Chairman Park Yun-kyung stated, "You are the driving force of Daegu's economy, having led regional growth and transformation through relentless innovation and challenge even amid industrial transition. Going forward, the Chamber will faithfully fulfill its role as a bridge for policy support and cooperation to help local industries take the next leap forward."
